Project Overview
Be My Green Guide in My Town is an Erasmus+ KA210-VET project that promotes sustainable tourism, green travel, and environmental awareness among vocational education students. Implemented by partners from Spain, Türkiye, and Hungary, the project aims to develop green skills, intercultural understanding, and responsible tourism practices. Through international learning activities, workshops, and mobility experiences, participants explore eco-friendly travel solutions, sustainable hospitality, and community engagement. The project contributes to environmental protection while preparing young people for future opportunities in the green tourism sector.

- International learning, teaching, and training activities on sustainable tourism and green travel.
- Workshops and seminars on ecotourism, environmental protection, and green skills in the tourism sector.
- Study visits to eco-friendly hotels, sustainable tourism businesses, and protected natural areas.
- Voluntary environmental and community service activities promoting responsible tourism practices.
- Development of a digital Green Traveller’s Guidebook featuring students’ travel experiences, photographs, and recommendations.
- Intercultural exchange activities that strengthen cooperation, communication, and European values among participants.
- Dissemination events, exhibitions, and online campaigns to raise awareness of sustainable tourism and climate-friendly travel.
Project Results
The project will increase participants’ awareness of sustainable tourism, green travel, and environmental responsibility. Students and teachers will develop green skills, improve their understanding of eco-friendly tourism practices, and gain valuable intercultural experience through international cooperation.
Key project results include:
- A digital Green Traveller’s Guidebook containing students’ travel notes, photographs, drawings, and eco-friendly travel recommendations.
- Improved knowledge of sustainable tourism, green skills, and environmentally responsible travel practices.
- Increased environmental awareness and understanding of climate-friendly tourism solutions.
- Enhanced intercultural dialogue, cooperation, and European citizenship among participants.
- Better digital, communication, and English language skills.
- Stronger cooperation between partner institutions and local stakeholders.
Wider awareness of ecotourism through exhibitions, dissemination events, social media campaigns, and project websites.
Timeline and Partnership
Running from December 2024 until June 2026, this international collaboration includes partners from Spain, Türkiye and Hungary, all working collectively to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary for active participation in climate action on multiple levels.
Learning, Teaching, Training
LTT in Spain
The Erasmus+ Learning, Teaching and Training (LTT) mobility activity was held in Córdoba, Spain, between 20–24 October 2025, with the participation of 6 teachers and 10 students. The programme focused on sustainable tourism, green mobility, and environmentally responsible hospitality practices.
During the mobility, participants took part in workshops, institutional visits, and field-based activities related to eco-tourism, carbon footprint awareness, and cultural heritage preservation. The project contributed to the development of green skills, environmental awareness, and international cooperation while promoting the
LTT in Türkiye
The Erasmus+ Green Travelling Mobility activity was held in Alanya, Türkiye, between 22–26 March 2026, bringing together students, teachers, and international partners from Türkiye, Hungary, and Spain. The programme focused on sustainable tourism, environmental awareness, and responsible travel practices.
During the mobility, participants engaged in workshops, presentations, field visits, and eco-friendly activities related to green travelling, cultural heritage, and environmental sustainability. The project strengthened students’ understanding of sustainable tourism while promoting intercultural cooperation, environmental responsibility, and the integration of sustainability into Vocational Education and Training (VET).
LTT in Hungary
As part of the Erasmus+ project “Be My Green Guide in My Town” (2024-1-ES01-KA210-VET-000244231), a Learning, Teaching and Training (LTT) activity was held in Békéscsaba, Hungary, from 17 to 22 May 2026 at Békéscsabai SZC Zwack József Technikum és Szakképző Iskola.
During the mobility, participants took part in workshops, study visits, and cultural activities focused on sustainability, eco-tourism, environmental awareness, and local heritage. The programme also promoted intercultural cooperation, teamwork, and active participation through community-based learning experiences.
